Awesome surf lessons for beginners and advanced surfers

Explored by those with passion. Uncrowded waves. Thrilling swells and breaks. You’ve come to the right place to surf.

Thulusdhoo is blessed with a great surf and has a little something for everyone. You can have a chat with our Surf Guide to plan out which rides to start off with.

Cokes

The most talked about surf in the Maldives and recommended for the action seekers, Cokes is pretty much part of Thulusdhoo. Head out to this corner of the island where you can walk across the shallow lagoon with your board in hand, or paddle out depending on the tide. Reaching the islet, take the pathway surrounded by foliage and emerge on the other side to see the amazing swells.

Here’s a fun fact for you. The surf is named Cokes after the Maldives Coca Cola factory which is located on Thulusdhoo.

Chickens

A 5 minute speedboat ride from Thulusdhoo is Chickens Island. Chickens is another popular spot for both beginner and intermediate surfers to try their hands at the waves. Appropriately named after the fact that the uninhabited island used to farm chickens, this wave starts out mellow and can end with a very high speed.

Our Surf Guide is happy to explore additional waves with you. Whether it’s the adventurous Sultans for those looking for the thrill of tube rides, or the gentle Ninjas which is a favourite among longboard enthusiasts, surf’s up here at Thulusdhoo.
